Mjoy is a worldwide free SMS service for wap enabled mobile phones. You can register online, then to use the service you need to log in to the Mjoy website from your mobile (mjoy.com/m).

You must know the cellphone number and carrier to use this service, but you can send unlimited free text messages to many countries including USA, Canada, Austria, Mauritius, Australia, Ireland and South Africa. sendsms2u
Send free sms worldwide with sendsms2u.com. You can send free sms without registering but you have to wait 10 minutes in between sending sms. If you register you can send free sms every 7 minutes.
Tested by textmefree.com and worked quickly to the UK. Other countries in their drop down list aren't all supported but you are told this when you try to send texts to those countries.
The site has 1,000 free sms available daily, so once this quota is used up you will need to wait

smsCafe are an online sms provider that give free sms when you register, it's not stated how many free sms you get. You can also accumulate more free sms by signing up to services and posting on the forum. Quite a lot of work when there are other free sms services available.
