Answers...(Back to top) 1. Help, I can't send free text messages! 2. How does a particular free sms service work? There are so many free international sms text messaging services listed at TextMeFree.com that I just don't know how each individual service works. Each free sms site seems to operate in a different way. The best thing to do is to get in touch with the particular site and ask them directly. (Back to top) 3. Free SMS service X does not work with friend's phone (Back to top) You need to contact the site concerned and ask them. Or you could leave a comment at the site listing concerned on TextMeFree.com. For obvious geographical reasons I am only able to verify free sms services that claim to work in UK (that's because I have a UK Mobile phone!). One tip: use the correct international dialling code! (Back to top) 4. How do I know if my friend got the message? Another good question (I wish I had the answer). Basically, sometimes a message is sent immediately, sometimes it takes a couple of hours, and sometimes the message is never received. So this is really a question you should direct at the 'free SMS' provider you are trying to use. Some services do confirm delivery of sms - look for that in the listing. Other than that, the only reliable solution, I'm afraid, is to test each service you're interested in (I have sent test messages for all of the sites listed to my UK mobile phone, but obviously cannot test on mobile phones in other countries!) If you have a bad (or good) experience with a particular site then you should leave comments or rate the site 'accordingly', here at TextMeFree.com . 6. You don't have a free service to country 'X' It is possible that country 'X' does not have any free sms services. (Go to our free sms sites page to start your search.) I know that you can send free sms using services to countries like Australia, Austria, Germany, India, Japan, China, Pakistan, Poland, UK, USA etc. (find a full list of countries here!) If you still cannot find a particular country, then why not try out a free sms service listed in the Worldwide section. How can I send free text messages from my PC Simply do a search for the word software at TextMeFree.com . You should find a free SMS site that allows you to send text messages anywhere in the world, direct from your PC. How do I unsubscribe from your service? Basically, TextMeFree.com does not operate any service for you to unsubscribe from. If you are receiving (or sending) messages with TextMeFree.com in the text message then you need to contact Fonetastic, as they are responsible for this service. (Contact Fonetastic Global Support.) If you want to unsubscribe from some other service then you must visit the sms site concerned and check the membership terms and conditions. If you want to unsubscribe from The TextMeFree Times newsletter, on the other hand, then unsubscription instructions are contained at the bottom of each email sent to you. (Back to top) Or "What are your best bulk sms rates?" Well, basically, TextMeFree.com is not a free sms provider and it does not sell sms services either. That means that TextMeFree.com has no need of bulk sms services whatsoever. I do list several sites that offer bulk sms, at good rates. Visit the

Can I send Free SMS using TextMeFree.com Ah, this is the easiest question to answer. The answer is no. As I keep saying, TextMeFree.com is just a directory of free sms sites. It is those sites that let you send free sms, not TextMeFree.com (just as it's to those sites you should go if you need to complain about messages not being sent or even abusive messages being received etc.). What about the TextMeFree/Fonetastic free sms service where messages end with "free sms via TextMeFree.com"? Well, this free sms service is operated by Fonetastic and not TextMeFree.com. That means Fonetastic (and not TextMeFree.com) are responsible for how this service works and can deal with any complaints or abusive text messages. (contact Fonetastic here !) Okay? Really, TextMeFree.com is just a directory of free sms sites. :-) (Back to top) 15. Will you tell your friends about TextMeFree.com? (Ahem.)
