eSeMeS is a new website that allows you to send free SMS to the UK. There is no registration required to use the service and you can send messages to UK mobile phone numbers only. There is no limit to the amount of free texts you can send. Text messages can be up to 600 characters in length.
Each SMS has the web address of esemes.co.uk appended to the end of the text. TextMeFree has tested this service and it worked well with texts arriving very quickly and one to a UK mobile phone that was outside of the UK. There is a facility to block and unblock texts if you need/want to. ...

eSeMeS also have a worldwide sms service which you must register for if you want to use it. The worldwide service is not free, you must buy credits, and the text length is 140 characters. Each text message uses one credit and credits can be bought in packs of 10 or 70. 10 credits cost £0.90 and 70 credits cost £4.90. To register you only need to give a username, a password and verify a captcha. With the paid service you can receive replies as well as send texts and you have an inbox and an outbox, so can access a history of messages sent and get a delivery report.

Best site out there by miles!
eSeMeS.co.ukThis is by far the best website. I travel a lot with work, so I look for good cheap ways to send messages. I have never had a message bounce, or arrive late, or had any issues. You can send as many UK texts as you like too. It is by far the best site out there.

eSeMeSpretty good, sent 3 texts and 2 of them got through very quickly, infact, instantly !! Don't know whay happened to the 3rd, but for a free site it's excellent. I'd happily recommend this site to friends, great site !
