You have to register to use smsteroid and that gets you 10 free sms to any mobile/cell phone. You get the option to include your own mobile number in the sms so that people can reply directly to your mobile/cell. You can also buy 75 sms per month for only 1.49 euros, which is pretty cheap.

Site works, long ad at end
SMSteroidJust signed up, and works fine to Australia. Long ad at end. 30 free sms on signup (16/09/2010). Limit of 2 sms per day from one account. If you link up your mobile, it doesn't display as coming from your number, but just adds to the end of your message "To reply back +614....etc".

This site is not user friendly
smsteroidI'm not able to send any sms's and when I try to click on the different links there's no information.Very frustrating.

Not True
The website works but you only have 30 sms and after that you will have to purchase, so it is free trial, not totally free.
