This is an application for the iPhone and iPod Touch that lets you send free sms. It's the lite version of TextFree Unlimited and gives you 15 free sms every day. If you pay $5.99 per year (yes per year) for the full version, you get unlimited free sms. Available for download at the iTunes store.
You have to be in a free wifi area for this app to work.
Once you've installed the application and created a nickname you can start texting for free.
By turning on email notification you will know when you've received a text even if you exit the TextFree app.
